On being an Indian pop musician in America and what music means to him
I had the opportunity to chop it up with Sommaiya a few weeks ago.
He’s an Indian musician from Delhi, and he wants to, “make sad music you can fucking dance to!” For me, there’s nothing better than sad music I can dance to 🕺🏻
When my boy, Adam Chen, introduced me to Sommaiya's music, I was immediately hooked. Then I heard more about his story, and it's been living in my head since.
